ALICE HOFFMANN – “BEHIND THE APRON”

Alice Hoffmann played the Saarland housewife “Hilde” in the ARD satire “Familie Heinz Becker”. Afterwards, she pondered: what would become of this Hilde if she were divorced and had to go back to work? Demonstrating for equal rights, for women’s rights, is one thing, but asserting oneself as a woman in one’s own everyday life and environment is another, more difficult thing. This is how the cabaret character “Kittelschürze der Nation” came about, based on the motto “Turning the board in front of your head into a weapon”. Who is behind it?
For the first time with this program, Alice Hoffmann occasionally breaks away from her cabaret character and chats critically and thoughtfully, but always humorously “out of the sewing box”

Thereby the kitchen of the castle Edesheim enchants the audience with a 3-course menu:

1st course: Venison terrine with apple and celery
2. Course: Braised ox cheek on roasted pointed cabbage and creamy polenta
3. Course: Chocolate tart with port ice cream and wild berries
