The ballroom of the Hotel Schloss Edesheim becomes the stage for a spooky, beautiful wedding celebration. Be our guest when the secret director greets you with the words: “Hello! This is Edgar Wallace”.
The last family reunion really had it all: First Lord Ashtonburry died an almost too natural death. Then the head of the family got more company in the tomb. And to top it all off, the comforting inheritance vanished into thin air.
After the great success with the first play “A funeral feast”, it continues now with the second play “Wedding in BLACK” …
… shortly after the death of her father Lord Ashtonburry, Cora Tilling celebrates her long-awaited wedding. After all these tragic events, doesn’t the wedding of the daughter of the house come a little too hastily? Some family members do their best to put obstacles in the way of the young happiness … the wedding gifts for the bride and groom are peppered with suspicions. What is there to the allegation that the groom suddenly came into a great deal of money through obscure means? And what is the penniless bride hiding?
Strange only that the otherwise so reliable priest is so long in coming. What’s the deal with a suddenly appearing marked bill in his bell bag? Suspicions cloud the celebration, where once again a lot of dirty family laundry is washed.
A highly enjoyable culinary wedding ceremony of a special kind awaits the invited guests when Father Green meets Edgar Wallace. All other wedding guests of the Ashtonburry – clan are welcome. And those who have already been present at the funeral feast as a legacy creeper will be delighted to see the family members again on the joyous occasion. After all, nothing can happen to anyone at a wedding, can it?
